Baptized but….still the same…

Hello guys. I give you my love. I couldn’t wait for Monday morning so that I could blog this. I have been inspired by a person close to me who is young in her faith with Jesus Christ. She says she was Baptized 3 years ago, apparently it means you are now walking with Christ and leaving the old you behind. Apparently. To me it doesn’t really mean anything. The change has to take place in your heart not when someone puts water on you or says a prayer over you…I don’t know what happens really…I just know the change has to come from within otherwise its just part of the label.

A person with inborn wickedness?

Anyway I know this woman is guilty of some, not all the things on this list. I have seen it. One day we had a conversation. She explained to me that there are some people who like to “kick people when they are down” to speak. I asked her why they do it. She said “cause they enjoy it. I knew she was talking about her self. I said something to her like. “When those people do that, they have to know it will come back to them. God sees and knows all things.” Anyway I tried to enlighten her about something, she took it in the most negative way. I realize she sees the world through her own truth of wickedness. So, if you tell her something good, and its too deep for her comprehension her mind writes it off as an attack, that is indirect. I cannot help such a person. I have decided I am better off without her company, however she has taught me a lot. Here is the list of 7 things god hates. It comes straight out of the bible folks. The bible Says some peoples wickedness is inborn.

Wisdom 12:10 – Inborn Wickedness

“But judging them little by little you gave them an opportunity to repent, though you were not unaware that their origin was evil and their wickedness inborn, and that their way of thinking would never change.”

Hearing the Word….

Hearing the word and Living By it

James 1:19

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
